SUNDAYS
Welcome to Church!
Whether it’s your first time at church or just your first time with us, we’re grateful to get to welcome you.
We gather on Sunday mornings, 9:30am, at 12345 Example Rd. Come a few minutes early to check-in your kids or let us show you around, and stick around afterwards to hangout and chat!
What’s the service like?
A “liturgy” is just a way of worshiping together.
Every church has one (whether they know it or not). Ours is both patterned after the way God’s people have worshiped for over 2,000 years; and filled with fresh expectation and longing for Him to meet us right here, right now. Every week we are welcomed and gathered into God’s presence. We sing together, pray together. We hear the Scriptures read and the Gospel preached. We respond to God’s Word. We receive Holy Communion. And then we’re sent out into the world, with the blessing of God on our lives, to live and work with Jesus.
Our gathering lasts roughly an hour and a half. If you’d like to receive prayer for encouragement, healing, direction, blessing, deliverance, confession and forgiveness, or anything else, come to the front right after the end of the service and a pastor or prayer minister will be there for you.
You can listen to recent sermons here.
What about kids?
Our kids are not the future of the Church. They are the Church, now.
With joy and gratitude, we fully welcome and receive kids and young people into our community as those about whom Jesus said, “If you don’t come into my Kingdom like them, then you can’t come in” (Mark 10:14–15).
In the service, after we bless and pray over our kids as a community, children ages 0–6th grade are released during the sermon to enjoy their own time of teaching, prayer, and community, crafted for their age. We seek to create a safe, warm environment where our kids are prayed for and led to know Jesus by vetted, trained, loving adults.
If it’s your first time with us, pre-register your kiddos here to speed up the check-in process on Sunday. :)
♛
“To all who are weary, and need rest; to all who mourn, and long for hope; to all who fail, and desire strength; to all who sin, and need a Savior, this church opens wide her doors with a welcome from Jesus Himself, the Friend of Sinners.”
Beyond Sundays
While the gathered worship of God’s people in Scripture, Spirit, and Sacrament is the center and hub of our shared life together — Sundays are only the beginning.
Like the headwaters of a mighty river that brings nourishment to an entire land, our encounter with God in worship is meant to bring us into a whole life with Him and His people Monday through Saturday as well. Most of us don’t want to just visit churches forever — we ache for belonging. Here are a few ways you can take a ‘next step’ of belonging and connection in our church beyond Sundays:
